Four Hundredish...

This morning was great! I played with little man all morning and it was raining and it was thundering and it was lightening! It was amazing! Alicia H. called and said she was coming over so we hung out until she had to go to work. During nap time I did my Biggest Loser workout and then had a salad for lunch. Then I just relaxed. Little man woke up and I had a sick child. His back teeth are coming in so he has a fever. Poor little guy. I have him a fever reducer and let him take it easy.

When Bruce got home I headed to the gym. I burned about 400 calories! I was shocked! I am so dang happy! I am really hoping I see some awesome results when I weigh in on Monday.

I came home and got started on dinner. I made homemade biscuits and a little biscuit man for little Bruce. I gave him blue eyes and a red mouth! Bruce made the sausage, bacon and gravy. Needless to say I am not eating anything that I just described. I am having another salad.

Little man went down for the night and it was poof night! Alicia H. and Rob came over to watch Jersey Shore us. I have to say, I LOVE THAT SHOW! After Jersey Shore went off Alicia H. and Rob left. Andrea stayed and watched Vampire Dairies with us. Tonight's episode was intense and next weeks looks even better! I am so excited! Well, it's off to bed for this little lady!

Ugh kind of day...

Since when did being rude, inconsiderate and obnoxious become okay? Did I miss the letter in the mail saying that it was now acceptable to be completely inconsiderate of others? I just don't understand. If you see that a person isn't laughing at your jokes or if they look as if it is bothering them then why keep it up? I just can't stand it. I also miss the days of chivalry. Where did that go? Is it so hard to do? And why is it so hard to pick up after yourself? It's not that hard. I just don't understand people sometimes. Aren't you supposed to take pride in your home and yourself? And if you're having a conversation with someone and the radio is up loud, TURN IT DOWN! Why is it necessary to have to basically yell in order to hear each other? And if you can tell that someone is upset or if they are having a bad day, why do you think it's necessary to fuss at them while asking what is wrong? How about being nice and trying to understand why instead of being defensive? Ugh...

Anyways, enough venting. Today was ok. Little man and I played most of the morning, but he is getting his back teeth in so he was pretty grouchy by the time it was nap time. But he went down great as usual. After nap Bruce came home and I went to the gym. I burned about 200 calories! It was awesome! I just got to keep it up. We went to the grocery store to get some stuff for salads and we got McDonald's for big Bruce. Way to be supportive right? After dinner I blogged and now I am going to go shower and go to bed. I'm exhausted.

S.M.T.

Today began with coffee, lots and lots of coffee. I don't know why, but I didn't sleep too good last night. I do know that little man woke up around 4:30 and whined for a few, so I know that that was a contributing factor. When I got him up this morning it was so cute, he ran straight to his couch and sat down and leaned back with his arm and watched his morning cartoons waiting for his breakfast. I love that little guy. We watched Dancing with the Stars and I have to say that my favorites are Rick, Bristol, Audrina and Kyle. Little man spent his morning trying to wear big Bruce's shoes. He could get his foot in one, but every time he tried to put the other one on he would fall out. It was so cute!

Once little man was done for his nap it was workout time for me. Today was all lower body, but I did pretty good. I burned about 60 calories. I am so excited to get to Rogersville so I can start going to the gym and taking some classes to really burn off some weight!

After little Bruce woke up big Bruce came home! So I decided to go to the gym for a little bit. Oh my gosh! I burned so many calories while I was there! It was awesome! Once I got back home I cooked dinner. Tonight was a grilled cheese night here. Little Bruce ate a whole sandwich all by himself! I'm so proud. After dinner it was family playtime. We broke out the camera to make some home videos. We spent a good half an hour being chased and attacked by little man. It was a blast. And it tired us all out.

For movie night we watched Frozen. I freaking loved it! It was sort of like Open Water, except these three people were stranded on a ski lift. I highly recommend it. Well, off to bed.

Duty Day...

Bruce had duty today so it was just me and little man! Alicia H. and a new friend were coming over at 10:30 for a playdate so I decided to go ahead and do my workout and shower before they got here. Little man loved watching me workout! He was trying to do it with me. He was just laughing and jibber jabbering the entire time. But as soon as I finished my workout I got a text from Alicia H. saying that she wasn't feeling up to coming over so I was a little bummed. But the good side of that is that now I don't have to do my workout during nap time. Little man and I went upstairs to get cleaned up and watch cartoons. We had such a good morning!

Nap time was complete relaxation for me. I ate lunch and then cuddled up on the couch. I haven't had a soda in a  long time so I had one with my lunch and regretted it because it gave me a huge headache. I was woken up by someone coming into the house and it turns out that it was Bruce. He had a class that day and ran home on lunch to try and see us. He was upset that little man was still napping. He napped till a little after 3 today which was awesome.

The rest of the day was just a lazy day here until Andrea got here. We ate dinner then we went out in the back yard to play for a little bit and then it was time for little man to go to bed. We played three rounds of Call of Duty and then watched last weeks Vampire Diaries. Well, off to bed. Super excited to have my hubby back tomorrow.

Play Day!

Today we got up and decided to take little man to the indoor playplace at McDonald's. Bruce got a tea and I got a water and we went in there and let him run wild. But seeing as how he is such a peculiar boy, he did not like being up in the playplace. He only wanted to play with the stuff that was on the ground. It was so cute though. He kept following all the other little kids that were there and then he would just watch them as they ran up into the playplace. He was having so much fun. We stopped by the park on the way home, but we were only there for a matter of a few minutes and we had to leave because it was so incredibly hot. Little man's poor little cheeks were beet red. Bruce and I watched a movie during naptime and it was an okay movie.

Then when little man got up we went to the pool! Even though it was 95 degrees outside he wanted nothing to do with going into the water. He was happy just standing next to Bruce who was in the pool.

Sunday's are "family" dinner nights for us with Alicia H. and Rob and tonight Shaela, Marcy and Dustin came too! We had some awesome lasagna made by Alicia H. After dinner we all relaxed in the living room. Us girls got talked into playing a round of Modern Warfare 2 and it was so much fun. I am horrible at that game, but I had such a blast losing. After we got home we just relaxed with little man and once he went to bed Bruce wanted to play one or two rounds of Modern Warfare 2 with me and I got murdered! Now I am off to bed.

Daddy and Me day...

Today was so bittersweet. Bruce and little Bruce were having a father son day, so that meant a whole day for me to relax. We got little man dressed up and then we gave him a rub on tattoo that he got in his happy meal from the other day. It was General Grievous from Star Wars! He looked so cute with it! It started off with us dropping our car off at Ford to have a little work done.

Then we came home and they dropped me off and they went to a Daddy and Me thing sponsored by Dads on Duty. While they were gone doing that I made a honey and olive oil mask for my skin and relaxing on the couch. Of course I had to do my workout today, but it wasn't bad at all. When they got home I fed little man his lunch and soaked up all the time that I had with him. Then he went down for his nap and I returned to relaxing on the couch while Bruce played games on Facebook and added music to his iPod. Alicia H. called me and asked if I would run her to the MWR to get our movie tickets for tonight since she lent us her car while ours was being held hostage by Ford all day today. So, I went and got her and we ran down to 32nd St and got our movie tickets.

Once I got back it was time for little man to wake up and get ready to head to the Nimitz on North Island. I got him dressed and played with him as much as I could and then off they went. I cleaned up the house and went upstairs to take a shower and start getting ready for my girls night out. Ford then decided to call and let me know that my car was ready so Rob gave me a ride to pick it up. I had just gotten out of the dang shower so I threw my hair up and got dressed and off we went. I hurried home because I only had about an hour until I had to pick up Alicia H. and Shaela. I hurried up and got ready and went and picked them up. We were going to go to a different Chevy's since we always go to the same one so we drive all the way out to La Mesa and we couldn't find the place. So, Alicia H. calls and the number had been disconnected. It turns out that they had closed that one. Bruce then called me and asked where I was and I told him that we went to the Chevy's in La Mesa and he was sad because he had stopped by our usual Chevy's on the way home from the Nimitz to surprise me. I was crushed. I would have loved to have seen little man and Bruce again. So, we ended up going to the usual Chevy's. We had such an awesome dinner. It was nice to just sit and relax and enjoy a meal with the girls. Then we went to go see Easy A at the mall. Can someone explain to my why people have to sit right next to you when the entire row is empty?! I can't stand that. But the movie was so super awesome! I haven't laughed like that in a while. I came straight home after the movie because I really missed my boys. But I knew little man would already be in bed. I was sad. But at least I got to see the hubby.

I am always thinking about days like this where I don't have to do anything and I can relax. But now that I got one of those days it really made me wish that I could have spent my day making silly faces, changing diapers, playing and laughing with my son. I missed him so much today. Everything made me think of him. I am always complaining to Bruce when he wants to video things on our camera because I like pictures more and I like to use our actual video camera for videos. But he took two videos today of little man. One at the Daddy and Me event and one on the Nimitz. I loved every second of them. He was dancing in the first one having so much fun and he was hugging a little girl and giving her a kiss and walking down the flight deck in the other. It was so awesome to see a little bit of what he experienced today without me.

Well, I am off to bed. I'm wiped.

Killers...

I woke up this morning still feeling under the weather, but I don't think it is as bad as it was yesterday. I came down and made breakfast and put on a pot of coffee. I finally got a call from the childcare licensing office to schedule my walk through. She is coming on October 20th! I am so excited. I still have a few things to do around here to make sure it's all ready, but for the most part we are all done! Alicia H. and Chase came over and hung out until around 1 when she had to go to work. Little man got up and he was so fussy and mad. I didn't know what was going on. I barely got him calmed down. When Bruce came home he freaked again and Bruce noticed that he was chewing on his hands, so we think his back teeth are coming in. Poor little guy. He finally mellowed out a little bit so I started on dinner while they ran to the grocery store for some ice cream and to get our movie for date night. We let little man feed himself his entire dinner and that was the funniest thing I had seen all day. He had a blast with it and it was everywhere! But he ate almost the whole meal.

After dinner they went outside for their "man time" while I cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes. After all that was done we just spent the rest of the night playing.

We watched "Killers" for date night and it was so awesome! I thought it would be good, but it was really good. I think we may end up buying it one day. But I am off to bed for the night.

Cotton Candy Poofs...

Sick...tired...puffy...sneezy... That is how I describe my morning. I totally caught the cold that has been going around here. But it was still a good morning. I am so happy that little man is so easy because he just let me lay around and be sick. I loaded up with coffee and by 11:00 I was feeling a little more upbeat. I was woken up today by the sound of a grown man talking in little man's room. I had totally forgotten that we let him go to bed last night with his Woody doll from Toy Story. He was in there pulling his pull string. It was so cute! He was laughing and just having fun.

My workout today went a whole lot better! Today was kick boxing and yoga! Those are my two favorite things to do on the game! I didn't huff and puff like I did the day before yesterday, which was totally awesome!

Little man and I went outside after nap time and played in the backyard. We had so much fun! He is loving going down the slide like a big boy.

After Bruce got home we had dinner and then we went out for ice cream! We had so much fun. Little man got to get his own little ice cream. He got cotton candy with sprinkles! He loved it! He had it all over his face. He didn't eat it all though. But that's a good thing.

After we all finished eating we decided to let little man run around Liberty Station. We did that for about an hour. He was all over the place! It was so much fun. We are going to start doing that more often. Just go somewhere new and explore. Fun doesn't have to cost money. He is such a little cutie pie! We swung by Wal-Mart on the way home to get some more pancakes and other things for little man and then it was home for poof night with Alicia H, Andrea and Rob! Jersey Shore tonight was hilarious!

Now it's off to bed with some Nyquil!

Awesome day!

Today started off horrible! So, when I woke up I was so incredibly sore. I could barely lift my arms over my head to get my hair up. Ugh! But I got up and went to get little man and that was a nightmare. I went in there and he was all smiles and then I went to pick him up and I swear it felt as if he gained about 500 lbs! Anyways, we came down and had breakfast and had an awesome morning. We ran to the recycling center and dropped off our recycling and made $52! Yay! Then it was home for nap time. I ate my lunch and then I went to take a nap of my own. Once nap time ended Bruce got home from work and we all got ready to go to the Safety Expo that our housing was putting on. We had so much fun! They have raffles at the end and guess what?! WE WON A FREAKING GRILL! Not just any ole grill, A REALLY NICE ONE!

Housing was going to bring it over in the morning, but Bruce insisted on wheeling the thing home! That's 3 blocks! He was like a kid! But he is loving it! After little man went down I ordered his Daddy Doll! I can't wait for him to see it! Today was so awesome! Now I am going to go and watch some tv with the hubby and relax.

DWTS and Rent

This morning was pretty awesome! Little man and I watched the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars! Here are my thoughts:

Audrina - I thought she was really good, but in a lot of ways she reminds me of Kate last year. She just kept looking at her partner as if she were asking what to do or something. She just needs to show her confidence in her face.

Brandy - She was awesome! But I don't look forward to seeing her dance again for some reason.

Bristol - She had the same confidence issue that Audrina has. I think that if she could get past that then she would be awesome!

David - LOVED IT! His facial expressions and his noises were just so dang funny!

Florence - That was just creepy!

Jennifer - I spent the entire time crying. She did amazing and did Patrick proud!

Kurt - Gotta love him. But I don't think he is going to make it very far this season.

Kyle - HE WAS AMAZING! I was clapping and laughing and just loving it! He is going to go far as long as the voters keep him there!

Margaret - Her rehearsal and commentary were hilarious, but I hated the performance.

Michael - I love him as a singer, not so much as a dancer.

Mike - I totally disagree with the judges. I thought he did really good for only having 5 days to rehearse! I think that if he would have had the 3 weeks that everyone else was able to have then he would have rocked it even more!

Rick - Wow! He is so much taller than Cheryl! But even though he is taller I think he did really good. But even if he didn't, he sure is fun to look at and listen to!

Today was day one of my new diet and exercise routine. Based on my weight I have to drink 69 ounces of water a day. Ugh! That's a lot of water. And I am using The Biggest Loser game on the Wii to keep up with my calories and my exercise. Today I had to do a 24 minutes upper body routine and I thought I was going to die! I was yelling and hooting through a lot of it. I have NO upper body strength. It was pathetic. But my plan is to do all my workouts during the week while little man is napping and while no one else is here so I won't get all nervous and embarrassed. My goal on the Wii is to lose 11 lbs in 4 weeks. I am hoping to do better than that, but we shall see.

Alicia H. and Rob came over to have dinner with Andrea and I and Alicia H. cooked some spaghetti for us! It was awesome. We decided to abandon our S.M.T. regulations for the night and watch Rent because Rob was dying to watch it. I thought that it was okay, but I don't have any desire to see it again. I've only liked 2 musicals ever and it was just way to long. But that could also be because I am super tired. Well, I'm off to bed.

Another lazy day...

Today was such an awesome lazy day! Little man and I both feel a little under the weather. He has a stuffed up nose and I have a slight sore throat, but nothing to bad. So, we just spent the morning laying around and playing. It was nice to just relax all morning. He helped me put the chicken into the marinade for our fajitas dinner tonight. He is such a good little helper. His poor little nose has been so pitiful today. It is constantly stuffed and I have to clean it out ever 5 minutes it seems like. So, it is staying red from the wipes. Poor little guy. But he doesn't seem to really be bothered by it at all. He spent about 30 minutes of today learning mandarin Chinese from Ni Hao Kailan. He was saying the Chinese words for grandpa, thank you and dance. It's so cute! We got a recall thing in the  mail for our vehicle. It has to have work done to the transmission fluid cooler. So I made the appointment with Ford and just our luck they don't give a service car to us even though they said it is a repair that requires them to have our vehicle all day. Boo! But Alicia H. said we could borrow hers to get us to and from the Ford dealer.

Little man took his nap and then when he got up he taught himself how to stack his blocks all on his own! I am so proud of him! Once Bruce got home we ran to Target for some diapers and then we came home and made a fajitas dinner! We decided to record a little home movie tonight of little man and it was so much fun! He's such a cutie! Once he went down for the night I went over to Alicia H.'s house to watch Gossip Girl! It was so weird to go somewhere at night and by myself! Well, off to bed!

Masks and toys...

Today was such a fun and productive day! We started off by having breakfast with Alicia H. and Rob. Then we went with them to the Halloween store so they could look at costumes. But it turned into our husbands just trying on masks and being silly. And Rob just about broke the display in the front of the store. It was hilarious!

Then it was home for naptime! Then Bruce and I got our recycling together, cleaned the car, started laundry and straightened up. Once little man go up we boxed up the clothes from the yardsale and we took them to a thrift store so unload them. It was awesome! We got $65! We headed to the recycling place right after, but we got there to late and they were closed. Boo! But Bruce is going to go when he gets off work tomorrow. Then we went to Wal-Mart and Bruce was finally able to get little Bruce the Woody doll he wanted to get him for his birthday and I got him his own little fold away couch! He freaked! He loves them both so much! It was adorable! We spent the rest of the day playing at the house having a blast! We had such an awesome weekend.

21,5,14

Today was so awesome! We all got up and got ready and then it was off to the case lot sale at the commissary! We did so awesome! We got a ton of toilet paper, 12 boxes of Trix, cheese puffs, fabric softener and a few other things. Then we ran to Target to get some wipes because I can get +700 for about $9.00 there. Then we came home and we put little man down for his nap and I went upstairs to take a nap while Bruce watched the Florida/Tennessee game. When I woke up around 3 I came downstairs to find that he had also fallen asleep.

We decided to go and try to play in the pool but once he got in the water little man wasn't having it. So we quickly dried off and headed to the park for a few. He is such a big boy now. He can turn around and sit properly on the slide and go down all on his own! Since we both had a free meal at Chevy's we went there for dinner! Little man once again ate an entire meal all on his own! I am so proud. He did make a mess in the process though.

After dinner we went to go pick out little man's Halloween costume and we ended up picking out Woody! It so cute! And I am going to dress up as Jessie! We are going to match. Now, if we can only talk his uncle Ricky into being Buzz Lightyear! There were also these creepy little babies in this cemetery like playpen there. Little man loved them! But he kept guarding his trick or treat bucket as if they were going to snatch it away from him. But it was so cute! He wouldn't walk away from them.

Once we got home it was bathtime and bedtime. Now I am all alone in the house while Bruce goes to a bonfire with Dre. It's kind of nice to be alone again.

Today also marks our 5 year anniversary of being together, little Bruce is now 14 months old and Ricky is 21!

Cake bomb and rum...

Oh my gosh! Could may morning have sucked anymore?! I had this awesome plan for Bruce's cake and it all went to shit! First I forgot to buy blue food color gel so I couldn't dye the fondant blue. So, I cut out one big bat symbol and then 12 mini ones and I start to spray them black with the food coloring spray that I bought but it doesn't stick to fondant! Ugh! So, it all just went to poo!

We decided to go out to dinner with Alicia H. and Rob to PF Changs because they and a $50 gift card and they were going to put it towards our entire bill. But when we got there the wait was to long so we went to Applebee's. Little man ate so good! He ate an entire kids meal! He was also a complete goof ball during dinner!

After dinner it was party time! We had a few friends over for a little get together. We played beer pong and basically did nothing. It was awesome! I had never played beer pong before, but they said I was pretty dang good. I was shocked! I ended up drinking way to much pineapple juice and not enough rum so my tummy was all weird, so I ended up going to bed around 11:00.

Do it in cake...

I was woken up today by my wonderful husband! It was awesome! He had to go to an appointment this morning and he had about an hour before he had to be there so he came home and surprised me and little man. But after he left we spent our day just laying around like usual. Once Bruce got home we ran to Best Buy and Verizon. I dropped him and little Bruce off at Alicia H.'s house and her and I went to a cake store! OH M GEE! IT WAS AMAZING! I could have spent all day in there and all my money if I wanted too. It was awesome! Then we came back to my house to make dinner.

We made grilled chicken (chokeberries), baked mac n cheese and homemade rolls. It was so good. Rob and I took turns beating the crap out of each other tonight. First I smacked Alicia H., then Rob and then they got me back. But I got the ultimate revenge by popping him across the face with my wet dish rag. IT WAS AWESOME! But now we are about to watch Vampire Diaries! I am so stoked!
